When you need to treat for bed bugs, mites, mosquitoes, fruit flies, gnats, flies, roaches and other bugs, often times a bug spray alone won't solve the problem. You need fogging to cover large spaces and treat areas sprays can't reach. Fogging a room, the whole house, or even your car is often an essential part of the treatment.
But what do you put in the fogger? You need a product that's effective at killing the pests but that won't harm you, your family and pets. You also don't want to damage your furniture, electronics, pictures/paintings, wall coverings, paper and cardboard items. Foggers create small droplets and blow them into the air in a large cloud. Those liquid droplets settle on every surface in the room and, if it's a water based product, can damage moisture sensitive items.
Cedar Bug-Free™ Fogger Bug Spray is highly effective at killing insects and does not contain any water - just food-grade aromatic Cedar Oil and other natural ingredients. For the past nine years, this product has been used extensively by pest control professionals and homeowners when fogging homes, office buildings and cars, killing the insects and leaving a pleasant Cedar aroma. You can also pour it into a spray bottle and use it as a very effective bug spray for most insects.
When insects and other arthropods are exposed to Cedar Bug-Free™ Fogger Bug Spray, the aroma of the Cedar Oil overwhelms their breathing system and triggers a suicide response - their spiracles (breathing pores) close and cannot re-open. The formulation also dissolves the insect eggs and larvae, eliminating the next generation, while the aroma of Cedar disrupts their pheromone signals and creates a barrier of entry to newly arriving pests.
Cedar Bug-Free™ Fogger Bug Spray is more effective than other natural insecticides and is longer lasting.
Cedar Bug-Free™ Fogger Bug Spray is best applied using a Tri Jet Fogger or similar. You do not need a commercial fogger; a consumer type fogger works just fine. You can purchase a Tri Jet fogger for around $300 or you can rent it at Home Depot for around $30/day.
Close all windows tightly. If your house is air conditioned, leave the system running so the fog will penetrate the ductwork and kill anything living in there. Wear a respirator and eye protection. Protective clothing is not mandatory but recommended.
Fill the fogger canister about 3/4 full and begin fogging at the end of your room or house (if you are fogging your whole house at one time) and work your way towards the entrance. Aim the fogger at furniture and above. Don't be concerned about the floor since the fog will drop all the way to the tops of furniture and the floor.
You do not need to spend a lot of time in one room. Once the room is full of fog, move on to another area. When you are finished in a room (or whole house), close the door and leave it undisturbed for about 4 hours.
CAUTION: AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES; if contact occurs, flush with water for at least 15 minutes. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. In case of ingestion consult a physician.
Cedar Bug-Free™ Fogger Bug Spray is formulated from all natural food grade ingredients that are Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) - 10% pure Eastern Red Cedar Oil and 90% Hydrated Silica (not the dangerous crystalline silica). There are no artificial fragrances, colorants or preservatives and no animal by-products or animal testing.
Eastern Red Cedar Oil is extracted from a species of juniper found in North America east of the Great Plains called Juniperus virginiana. The oil is distilled from the trunk and branches, and is considered safe by the US FDA as a food additive. This oil kills bacteria, fungi, and wood eating insects.
Hydrated Silica is a form of silicon dioxide, also known as silicic acid when dissolved in water and, in its solid form, is mined as the gemstone Opal. Hydrated Silica is used in toothpaste, desiccant Silica gel, and is used in the production of beer. In its pure form it is chemically inert. Hydrated Silica is listed by the US FDA as "Generally Recognized As Safe".
Cedar Bug-Free™ Fogger Bug Spray is classified as a Minimum Risk Pesticide by the US EPA and qualifies for exemption from registration under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act.
I've been dealing with mites for almost a year and I've tried everything thing without success. I called you guys and spoke with one of your techs and he told me exactly what I needed to do. I bought the carpet powder, the laundry additive, the household bug spray, and the fogger bug spray. As soon as I started fogging my apartment, the number of bites was reduced significantly. I followed all the application instructions from your tech and, after 10 weeks, I'm happy to report I'm not getting any more bites. Your products are really first rate and your tech really knows his stuff. Thank you!
Charles, MII originally bought your Fogger bug spray to treat my house for bed bugs, and it worked very well. I also had a roach problem so I decided to give it a try. After three applications, my roaches are gone. This product is great!
Carol, MiamiBed bugs were really bad and I almost had them under control, but not quite. Your Fogger Bug Spray helped me finish the job and I haven't seen or felt bed bugs in a month.
